The City and Land Office Lübeck was an administrative district of the Free and Hanseatic City of Lübeck .

It was formed in 1871 by amalgamating the City Office and the Landamt and initially comprised the Lübschen properties within and outside the Lübeck Landwehr (with the exception of the Travemünder Winkel possessions administered by the Travemünde Office ):

In 1879 the Travemünde office was abolished and its administrative functions were transferred to the Lübeck City and Land Office - which made it responsible for the administration of the entire state territory of the Free and Hanseatic City of Lübeck. From 1885 the city and country office had its seat at Mühlenstrasse 72 .
