Staffel is a locality and under the name Staffl a cadastral municipality of the municipality Pennewang in the Upper Austrian district of Wels-Land .
Staffel is located in the Hausruckviertel at 448 m above sea level. Staffel is located 18 kilometers west of the city of Wels and 2 kilometers southwest of Pennewang. The cadastral community is made up of the south-western part of the community and covers an area of 4.1 km². The extension from north to south is 3.0 km and from east to west 2.5 km.
The village of Staffel has 66 inhabitants (as of 2001). The cadastral community Staffl also includes the villages of Nölling (18 inhabitants), Kohlgrub (13 inhabitants), Pühret (36 inhabitants), Stürzling (7 inhabitants) and Weißbach (25 inhabitants).
