Staryj Lyssez ( Ukrainian Старий Лисець ; Russian Старый Лисец Stary Lissez , Polish Łysiec Stary ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Ivano-Frankivsk with about 3800 inhabitants (2001).

The village, first mentioned in writing in 1491, is the only place in the 25.98 km² district council of the same name in the southwest of Tysmenyzja Rajon .

Staryj Lyssez is located in the east of the historical Galicia on the bank of the Bystryzja Solotvynska opposite the urban-type settlement Lyssez , 25 km west of the district center Tysmenyzja and 14 km southwest of the oblast center Ivano-Frankivsk .

The N 10 road runs in the northeast of the village .
