Stefan Dittrich

Stefan Dittrich (born June 28, 1912 in Hof ; † February 5, 1988 in Kötzting ) was a German lawyer and politician ( CSU ).

Life

After visiting the elementary school and high school in Regensburg studied Dittrich 1932-1935 Law at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich and Würzburg . In 1932 he became a member of the Catholic student association KDStV Aenania Munich . Then he was a trainee lawyer in Kelheim , Regensburg, Hof and Munich until 1939 , after which he worked as a judge at the district court and later at the regional court after the second state examination . For a while he was also a soldier during World War II, most recently in the rank of major in the reserve. He was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross . In 1947 he established himself as a lawyer in Kötzting.

In 1937 he joined the NSDAP as a court trainee ( membership number 4.277.189). He was also a member of the SA and NSRB . After the Second World War, Dittrich became a member of the CSU and in 1952 its deputy district chairman in the Kötzting district .

Dittrich was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1972. He represented the constituency of Deggendorf in parliament. From January 30, 1957 to 1969, he was deputy chairman of the Bundestag Committee on Election Testing and Immunity. From February 12, 1963 to 1965, Dittrich was chairman of the working group on social policy, cultural policy and journalism of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group.

From December 9, 1965 to February 14, 1973 he was also a member of the European Parliament . There he headed the Health Protection Committee in 1966/67.
