Stefan Georgiev ( Bulgarian Стефан Георгиев ; born June 18, 1992 ) is a former Bulgarian ice hockey player who spent most of his career at HK Slavia Sofia in the Bulgarian ice hockey league.

Career

Stefan Georgiev began his career as an ice hockey player at HK CSKA Sofia . In 2008 he moved to local rivals HK Slawia Sofia . With Slavia he won the Bulgarian championship title in 2010, 2011 and 2012 . In 2010 and 2011 he and his team also won the Bulgarian Ice Hockey Cup . After the third championship title, he only ended his career at the age of 20.

International

In the junior division Georgiev played for Bulgaria at the U18 World Championships in 2008 , 2009 and 2010 and the U20 World Championships in 2010 , 2011 and 2012 in Division III.

With the Bulgarian men's national team Georgiev only took part in the 2010 World Cup in Division II.
