Stefan Hossfeld (* 1964 ) is a German actor and director .

Life

Hossfeld studied at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . From 1989 to 1992 he completed an acting training and directing training at the New Munich Drama School of Ali Wunsch-König . From 1993 to 1996 he took on several directing internships at the theater with Erika Prahl , Dagmar Schlingmann , Jochen Schröder and on television , among others with Sabine Moeller , Maria Graf and Christa Mühl .

He worked as a theater actor , including in Austria . In the 1993/94 season he played Freder in the play Illness of Youth in a production by Dagmar Schlingmann at the Klagenfurt City Theater . As an actor and director, he has been on tour in recent years with, among other things, the Mörderspiel productions, a mixture of theater play and event catering .

Hossfeld now works mainly as an actor and director for television . In the ARD -Telenovela Rote Rosen , Hossfeld played the role of the scheming Lüneburg businessman Gerd Hannemann. Hossfeld belonged to the recurring and in the years 2011–2012 to the continuous side cast of the series. Hossfeld co-directed several episodes of the series.

In the low-budget film Farmer's Breakfast (2011) by Michael Söth , he took on one of the leading roles alongside Eva Habermann . He embodies the role of the village mayor Hartmut Pansegrau, who wants to protect his fellow citizens from an intruder who disturbs the rural idyll.

Among other things, Hossfeld worked as a director for ZDF on the television show Annettes DaschSalon , a music show with star soprano Annette Dasch , on the ZDFtheaterkanal .

Hossfeld also appeared as a reciter ; For example, at the Long Night of Books in Munich in 2002, he and the actress Angelika Thomas read from letters from Hannah Arendt , Erika Mann , Brigitte Reimann and Kurt Tucholsky .

He also works as a freelance acting coach and presenter , among others together with Burkhard Schmeer . Hossfeld lives in Lüneburg .
