Stefan Nägele

Stefan Nägele (born November 27, 1955 in Stuttgart ) is a German lawyer and specialist lawyer for labor law .

Live and act

Stefan Nägele completed his school education in Schwäbisch Gmünd in 1976  with a business diploma. He then studied law at the University of Konstanz until 1980 . After the legal traineeship in 1980, he completed the legal preparatory service at the District Court of Constance . The appointment as Assessor jur. took place in 1983. In addition to the subsequent activity as a lawyer in Stuttgart, Nägele continued his university education and was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD .

He began his legal work at the Stuttgart law firm Oppenländer Dolde Oesterle & Partner and specialized as a specialist lawyer for labor law. He initially worked as the head of the labor law department at PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly PwC Veltins ), and since 2003 in his own Stuttgart law firm, which in 2019 was named the top law firm for labor law by Wirtschaftswoche (23/19).

In 1998, together with Inken Gallner and the current director of the Heilbronn Labor Court , Carsten Witt, Nägele launched the “Blickpunkt Arbeitsrecht” series of events, a training and discussion forum for judges and lawyers.

From 2002 to 2006 he was a lecturer at the Humboldt University in Berlin . In 2006 he became an honorary professor at Allensbach University . He is a member of the economic senate of the Federal Association of Medium-Sized Enterprises and a qualified supervisory board by Deutsche Börse .

Nägele published in the trade journals Der Arbeits-Rechts-Beratung , Betriebs-Beratung and Neue Zeitschrift für Arbeitsrecht as well as online at Manager Magazin . He is also the author and editor of specialist books and commentaries.

Volunteering

Since 2007 he has been the first chairman of the support group for children with cancer in Stuttgart. In 2015 he received the gold Staufer medal from the state of Baden-Württemberg for his voluntary work.
