The Science Council also explained that the university was not showing any recognizable efforts to present a concept for digital teaching that could remedy this deficit. "There are also considerable doubts about an adequate understanding of university form on the part of those responsible at the AH with a view to the large number of professors at the AH in doctoral procedures at foreign universities, which is not acceptable for a university with insufficient research achievements". The university is suing the decision of the state of Baden-Württemberg to only grant temporary recognition with conditions until the end of 2022. The Science Council then removed its public statement from its website, according to the FAZ , although it still stands by it, in order to create "the most positive and pressure-free framework conditions possible for dealing with the university".
