history
The Karlsruhe University of Cooperative Education started studying in 1979. 48 students from 32 training companies began their studies in mechanical engineering or industry. The range of courses and the number of students have increased over the years. In 1995 she moved into a new building in Karlsruhe's northern part of the city . In 2004 the BA Karlsruhe reached over 6,000 graduates. On March 1, 2009, it became part of the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University.
