Stefan Wilke

Stefan Wilke (born October 8, 1979 in Dorsten ) is a German artist and author . From 2007 to 2012 he taught video art at the University of Erfurt .

Life

Wilke studied fine art at the Bauhaus University Weimar from 1999 to 2004 . From 2002 to 2003 he was an exchange scholar at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago . Subsequently, he received the license to teach at the University of Erfurt . From 2007 to 2010 he was a so-called Fellow in Residence at the Kolleg Friedrich Nietzsche of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar . For the video “Namibia 2005” he was awarded “The Pot of Etablissement for the Best Work Seen in 2010” in 2011 as part of the Brussels “Etablissement d'en face” projects. From 2007 to 2012 Wilke was a lecturer for video art in the art department at the educational science faculty of the University of Erfurt. Wilke is a founding member of the Association of Fellows of the Friedrich Nietzsche College.
