Steinbach is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Bad Großpertholz in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 27 building areas with 7,850 m², 5 gardens with 888 m² and in 1989/1990 there were 28 building areas in the cadastral community of Steinbach. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 90 and in 2009/2010 there were 51 buildings on 87 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 70 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 8 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 63 hectares and 13 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 58 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 1,288 hectares. The average soil climate number of Steinbach is 15.7 (as of 2010).
