Watzmanns is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Bad Großpertholz municipality in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 39 building areas with 16,537 m² and 35 gardens on 5,046 m² in the cadastral community of Watzmanns, in 1989/1990 there were 40 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 144 and in 2009/2010 there were 78 buildings on 153 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 206 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 170 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 181 hectares and 192 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 168 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 191 hectares. The average soil climate number of Watzmanns is 15.3 (as of 2010).
