Steinbach is a district of the Baden-Württemberg district town of Künzelsau in the Hohenlohe district .

The Steinbach district with the village of Steinbach and the hamlets Ohrbach , Büttelbronn and Wolfsölden lies northeast to east-northeast of the city center of Künzelsau on the Hohenlohe plain .

The eponymous village stands at heights between 385 and 405  m above sea level. NHN and as the crow flies a little over three and a half kilometers northeast of the Künzelsau city center in the still flat valley basin of the Deubach tributary, also known as Steinbach . The three hamlets are all roughly east of the village in the order given, the most distant Wolfsölden already beyond the deep and impassable Speltbach valley cut, almost three and a half kilometers away.

On January 1, 1972, Steinbach was incorporated into the district town of Künzelsau.

The mayor is Felix Bittner (as of 08/2020).
