Steven Savile
Steven Savile (born October 12, 1969 in Newcastle , England ) is a British author of fantasy and horror literature ( thriller ). He emigrated to Sweden in 1997 and lives there near Stockholm . His works mainly include novels accompanying television series and video games .
Life
Savile was born on October 12, 1969 in Newcastle upon Tyne and began writing horror stories at a young age.
Steven Savile holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and a Master of Philosophy in Comparative Religion . He broke a Ph.D. in English when he emigrated to Sweden in 1970. Before he became a full-time author, he worked as a teacher and in various government agencies, such as the British Ministry of Defense .
Today he lives near Stockholm.
Works
Steven Saville has written 20 books on various media content such as Doctor Who , Torchwood , Stargate , Warhammer and Primeval . In the Shadow of the Jaguar was a UK bestseller in 2008 and sold over half a million times worldwide. In 2010 he published his first non-fiction book under the title Fantastic TV: 50 Years of Cult Fantasy and Science Fiction . With Silver he made his debut in the thriller segment in January 2010. The book reached number 2 on the e-book bestseller list on Amazon.co.uk . He also co-wrote the plot of Electronic Arts first-person shooter Battlefield 3 . Together with rapper Prodigy , he wrote the crime fiction novel HNIC in 2013
