Schroth collection
The Schroth Collection is an art collection for concrete and post- minimal art based in Soest .
It was started by the industrial engineer and product designer Carl-Jürgen Schroth (* 1947 in Arnsberg ), former owner of Schroth Safety Products GmbH, in the 1980s. The collection of this art movement, to which Schroth is dedicated, is continuously being expanded. Works from the collection could be viewed in the former Marienschule on open days, now a listed building, in Soest until 2015.
Then followed the opening of the Schroth room in May 2016 as part of the Wilhelm Morgner Museum in the city of Soest . The works of the Schroth Collection can be seen there, as can external exhibitions.

The Conceptual Art Foundation , based in Soest, was founded in 2014 and contains works from the Schroth Collection.
The founder, Carl-Jürgen Schroth, creates a foundation not only for his own collection, but also the opportunity for other collectors or artists' bequests from the field of conceptual art to donate their works and preserve them for posterity. Further donations are already being planned.
Since 2014, the Conceptual Art Foundation has significantly supported the Hellweg Konkret project , which was represented with a first cycle of exhibitions in Soest, Unna, Hamm, Ahlen and Arnsberg.
