Susan Storm Large (born June 25, 1969 in Southborough , Massachusetts ) is an American singer-songwriter and actress who became known as one of the two lead singers - alongside China Forbes - of the group Pink Martini .

life and career

Storm Large graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and later moved to Portland , Oregon .

Large made a career as a singer , songwriter and actress ( theater , musical , television ) and worked with Dave Navarro , among others . She toured solo and with various bands before joining the group Pink Martini as a singer in 2011. During a tour in 2013, the group performed in Germany , where Large was enthusiastically received by the audience. In the same year she appeared as a soprano with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and sang from the ballet The Seven Deadly Sins by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill .
