Nachtigalstrasse

Gustav Nachtigal was a German explorer of Africa. He crossed the Sahara and then went to the Tibbu area , the land of Tibesti, which had never been entered by white people . In 1870 he reached Kuka, the residence of the Sultan of Bornu, and presented him with the gifts of the Prussian king.

Nachtigalstraße is a cross street to Niederfeldstraße in the north of the garden city .
