From 1885 it was called Oggersheimer Landstrasse, in 1906 it was renamed Frankenthaler Strasse. It begins at the confluence of Rohrlachstrasse with Valentin-Bauer-Strasse, leads to the Oggersheimer district boundary, where it continues from Mannheimer Strasse in the direction of Frankenthal.
