The 21 km long line with a gauge of 600 mm was built as a field railway by Austrian railroad troops during the First World War . After the war it passed into Polish ownership and was assigned to the Radom Railway Directorate . During the 20 years of operation there were three robberies and one fatal accident.

business

Eight connections per day were offered. The train had five cars. Usually a one-horse, closed car with two compartments for six people each was in use. The coachman had its place on a sheltered by a roof of rain coach box . On Wednesday, market day in Szczekociny, large wagons were in use that could hold up to 30 people and were driven in two horses.
