The Studebaker Power Hawk was a 2-door coupe with B-pillars manufactured by the Studebaker-Packard Corporation in model year 1956 only . Technically, the Power Hawk was part of the Studebaker Commander series, and it had its 4.2 liter V8 engine with 170 bhp (125 kW) output and a double carburetor or 185 bhp (136 kW) output, optional quadruple carburettors and double exhaust pipes . The Power Hawk was placed between the basic model Flight Hawk (coupe with B-pillars) and the Sky Hawk (hardtop coupe without B-pillars). Both Power Hawk and Flight Hawk were discontinued at the end of model year 1956 and replaced by the Silver Hawk in early 1957 .
