Stuschyzja ( Ukrainian Стужиця ; Russian Стужица Stuschiza , Slovak Stará Stužica / Nová Stužica , Hungarian from 1910 Patakófalu / Patakújfalu - before Ósztuzsica / Újsztuzsica ) is a village in the northwest of the Ukrainian Zakarpattia Oblast in the tri-border region Slovakia - Poland -Ukraine with about 1000 inhabitants (2006 ).

The village, founded in 1559, is located in the west of Velykyj Bereznyj district, 21 km northeast of the Velykyj Bereznyj district center and 72 km northeast of the Uzhhorod oblast center . In 1966, the previously administratively separate towns of Stara Stuschyzja and Nowa Stuschyzja were merged into today's place.

To the north of Stuschyzja lies the Kremenez , a 1221 meter high mountain in the Forest Carpathians within the Stuschyzja-Ushok Nature Park, a 2532 hectare red beech reserve with dwarf beech forests founded in 1908. The nature park is one of the beech forests in the Carpathian Mountains , a UNESCO - World Heritage . The oldest and largest oak trees in Ukraine are located in the village.
