Subida al Naranco

Subida al Naranco (Eng. Ascent to Naranco ) was a Spanish road bike race .

The race was held for the first time in 1941 and has since taken place annually in May with interruptions. The venue was the area around the final ascent of Monte Naranco near Oviedo in the Spanish province of Asturias . The one-day race has been part of the UCI Europe Tour since 2005 and was classified in category 1.1. The record winner is the Spaniard Fermín Trueba , who was the only driver to win the race three times.

From 2011 to 2013 the Subida was held as a stage of the Tour of Asturias .
