Addiction Help Vienna
The Suchthilfe Vienna is a profit company and a subsidiary of Addiction and Drug Coordination Vienna . She is responsible for the operational implementation of the Vienna drug concept and runs drug support facilities and community projects.

The offers include prevention, further training, information and education measures. There is advice, treatment and care for people at risk of addiction and those suffering from addiction . Projects are carried out in the field of (re) integration of addicts into the labor market. Furthermore, a socially acceptable coexistence in public space should be promoted.

In 1990 the “Association of Viennese Social Projects ” was founded and the “ Ganslwirt ”, a low-threshold, socio-medical advice center was opened. In 2006 the Addiction and Drug Coordination Vienna was founded.
In 2012, the Vienna Social Projects Association was transferred to Addiction Aid Vienna.

The facility provides addiction medical care by an interdisciplinary team of doctors and was opened in July 2012. It is financed by the Addiction and Drug Coordination Vienna and the Federal Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health and Consumer Protection .

jedmayer
The jedmayer is a low-threshold social medical drug advice center and was opened in July 2012. The facility is financed by the Addiction and Drug Coordination Vienna and the Federal Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health and Consumer Protection.
It focuses on three main areas:
- Day center: Social workers advise and look after clients
- Advice, support, living: 15 supervised living spaces are offered
- Emergency shelter : 26 beds are available for acute cases

The project offers street social work and monitoring and has existed since 1996. The focus is on the Praterstern , Westbahnhof and several U6 stations ( Josefstädter Strasse , Handelskai , Dresdner Strasse , Jägerstrasse , Niederhofstrasse ). Streetwork is financed by the Addiction and Drug Coordination Vienna.

Mobile social work in public space has been carried out by the teams from sam (social, safe, active, mobile) and help U (in cooperation with Wiener Linien ) since October 2007. The project is financed by the Addiction and Drug Coordination Vienna, ÖBB , Wiener Linien, Billa and the district administrations of Leopoldstadt , Landstraße , Wieden , Neubau , Alsergrund , Favoriten , Meidling and Ottakring .

checkit !, PartyFit!
These two projects offer addiction prevention. checkit! is a scientific project to research the consumption behavior of drugs and chemical substances. In addition, consumers are informed and advised. PartyFit! is an alcohol addiction prevention project at events. The addiction and drug coordination and the Federal Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health and Consumer Protection provide monetary support.

Regional competence center
The social medical advice center and outpatient clinic opened in October 2014 consists of two areas: alcohol. Be able to live.
