Sultan Abdulmajeed al-Habashi

Sultan Abdulmajeed Alhabashi ( Arabic سلطان عبد المجيد الحبشي, DMG Sulṭān ʿAbd al-Maǧīd al-Ḥabašī ; Born January 31, 1985 ) is a Saudi Arabian athlete .

At the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, the shot put was sixth, fourth at the 2003 Asian Athletics Championships and fifth at the 2005 Asian Championships.

In 2006 he won the Asian Games in Doha . At the 2007 World Athletics Championships in Osaka and at the 2008 Olympic Games , he was eliminated from the qualification.

In 2009 he failed in the preliminary round at the World Cup in Berlin and was fifth at the Asian Championships. The following year he did not get beyond the qualification at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Doha . When IAAF Continental Cup in Split he was sixth, and at the Asian Games in Guangzhou , he defended his title.

In 2013 he triumphed at the Asian Championships, but retired again in the first round of the World Cup in Moscow .

In 2014 he finished eighth at the Continental Cup in Marrakech and won the Asian Games in Incheon for the third time in a row .
