Sulymiwka ( Ukrainian Сулимівка ; Russian Сулимовка Sulimowka ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 900 inhabitants (2001).
The 1714 Cossack village founded was to 1923 in the parish Yahotyn in Powiat Pyriatyn of Poltava Governorate , from 1933 to 1937 in Yahotyn district of the Kharkiv Oblast , from 1938 to 1954 in Yahotyn district in the Poltava and since 1954 it is part of Jahotyn Raion in Kiev Oblast.
The village has an architectural monument with the wooden intercession church built in 1905 in the regional, traditional Cossack architectural style. There is also another old building with a school built in 1914 that is now used as a casino.
Sulymiwka is the administrative center of the 38 km² district council of the same name in the east of Jahotyn Rajon, to which the village of Boschky ( Божки , ⊙ ), 5 kilometers to the west, with about 60 inhabitants belongs.
The locality is located at about 11 km long river Schorawske Ozero ( Жоравське Озеро ), a tributary of the 29 km long Sula -Zuflusses Orschyzja ( Оржиця ).
Sulymivka is located 16 km east of Jahotyn district center and 118 km east of Kiev oblast center . The territorial road T – 10–18 runs through the village .
