Susanne Rita Bachmaier (* 1968 , née Stanglmeier) is a qualified social worker and Bavarian politician ( ÖDP ) from Anzing .

In 1989 she was one of the founders of the ödp district association in Erding, of which she was deputy chairman until 1996. Then she was district chairwoman there until 1998. In 1997 she was elected as the new Ödp federal chairman in a voting against incumbent Hans Mangold with 141 out of 267 votes. She was the top candidate of her party for the 1998 Bundestag election and the 1999 European election . She was confirmed in office at the 15th Federal Party Congress on September 18 and 19, 1999 in Berlin. Due to the lack of electoral success of her party and a lack of party-internal approval for an organizational development process initiated by the federal executive committee, she resigned from her position at the end of 2000. The new federal chairman was the Würzburg economic criminal and publisher Uwe Dolata . Until 2014 she was the only woman who held this position.

From 2002 to 2004 she was a member of the district council of the district of Erding ; she resigned from this office after moving to Munich for professional reasons .

She has lived in Ecuador since the end of 2008 , where she initially worked as the director of a home project for neglected children and later as a project manager for school and training projects in community development. After professional positions as a project manager for school projects in rural areas, the management of a local distance learning center for a renowned private university and the management of various projects in the field of work for the disabled, she was briefly involved in developing and consolidating local social policy with a focus on protection after a change of local government power in her place of residence entrusted to the rights of disadvantaged groups. At the beginning of 2015 she switched to school social work, where she worked in a rural community at a state full school institution (pre-school to high school graduation) and in 2016 in various schools in Quito. She has been living in Quito since March 2016 and from August 2016 to the beginning of 2018 headed the social work department in the Quito-Süd district of the Ministry of Social Affairs and was also temporarily director of the district.

Since 2010 as a part-time job, she has been running her own consulting company "YUYAY Consultoría Integral" since 2018 in her own consulting rooms in the south of Quito and offers systemic, psychosocial and therapeutic advice and coaching for schoolchildren / young people, parents, couples and families, as well as coaching for Executives and competitive athletes, organizational development, project management and social work in general.

She is a fan of TSV 1860 Munich and SD Aucas ( Quito ), and in Quito co-founder of the non-profit association for social work "Fundación Desarrollo, Inclusión y Compromiso Social FUNDICS" as well as initiator and founding chair of the also non-profit association "Fundación Amigos del Ídolo", who supports the promotion of young talent, fan work and the social and community-oriented commitment of the SD Aucas.
