Susanne Bay

Susanne Bay (born January 5, 1965 in Crailsheim ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). In the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 2016 it reached the state election district Heilbronn the Erstmandat .

Life

Bay is her parents' first child and has a brother and sister. She grew up first in the hometown of her mother Crailsheim, and since the age of 5 in Heilbronn , the hometown of her family on her father's side. She first attended the Damm Primary School in Heilbronn , then the Justinus-Kerner-Gymnasium Heilbronn , where she graduated from high school in 1984 . She then completed a degree in administration in Ludwigsburg .

After her first job in Tübingen , Bay moved with her husband and first daughter back to Heilbronn in the first half of the 1990s, where, after a family break, she works today (as of 2016) at an outpatient disability care facility .

Susanne Bay has been a city councilor in Heilbronn since 2009, and has been chairwoman of the Green parliamentary group since 2011. In the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 2011 , she ran for the first time for the Greens in the Heilbronn constituency, but won no mandate. She was finally elected in the 2016 election.

Bay is married and has two daughters. She lives with her family in Heilbronn.
