Susanne Freund (screenwriter)
Susanne Freund (* 15. March 1954 in Vienna as Susanne Egginger ) is an Austrian screenwriter and director .
Freund attended the high school Zirkusgasse in the 2nd district of Vienna Leopoldstadt and then studied chemistry at the University of Vienna . After graduating in 1979, she was responsible for organization and PR work in the Werkhaus Wien artist group; from 1984 she worked in various fields in film and theater productions; has worked as a screenwriter and director since 1990.
Her film I'm a bad guy was honored as the best German-language film at the Munich International Documentary Film Festival in 2018 .
