Sven Bohse
Sven Bohse (* 1977 in Tübingen ) is a German film director and screenwriter .
Live and act
Sven Bohse was born in Tübingen in 1977. His father was the book author and cultural worker Jörg Bohse, long-time chairman of the German East-West societies. In 1998, after a five-month stay in the USA , he began studying philosophy , American studies and modern German literature in Tübingen. In 1999 and 2000 internships and work as assistant director and assistant editor followed. From 2000 to 2005 Sven Bohse studied film directing with a focus on scenic film at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy and graduated with a diploma . In addition to studying film, he also produced advertising and image films and worked as a film editor . The measure of things was his graduation film at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy and was nominated for a student Oscar in 2006.
In addition to his award-winning short films, Sven Bohse has made several television series and films as a director . The multi-part television series Ku'damm 56 , which he directed, received several awards and nominations. Sven Bohse was nominated for the German Television Prize , the Grimme Prize and the Prix Europa .
