Sven Liebhauser (born October 12, 1981 in Leisnig ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and mayor of the city of Döbeln since 2019 . From 2009 to 2019 he was a member of the Saxon State Parliament .

Life

After finishing school in 1998, Liebhauser learned the profession of banker . He then worked as a private customer advisor at HypoVereinsbank in Munich and Leipzig and took part-time training at the Administration and Business Academy in Leipzig with a degree in business administration (VWA) . In 2005 he obtained the advanced technical college certificate at the Käthe-Kollwitz-Schule in Riesa . From 2005 to 2008 he completed a degree in the administration of justice at the Saxon Administration University of Applied Sciences in Meißen , which he successfully completed. Since November 2008 he has worked in the senior judicial service at the Leipzig Public Prosecutor's Office .

Liebhauser is a member of the CDU and currently deputy chairman of the city association in Döbeln. He has been the district chairman of the CDU in Central Saxony since 2017.

Since the local elections in Saxony in 2004 , he has been a member of the Döbeln city ​​council and the Döbeln district and, since the 2008 local elections, of the Central Saxony district. Since 2014 he has been an honorary member of the supervisory board of Stadtwerke Döbeln and a member of the administrative board of Sparkasse Döbeln.

In the state elections in 2009 he was nominated for election to the state parliament instead of Wolfgang Pfeifer by the Döbelner local association and obtained the direct mandate with 36.3% of the votes in the constituency of Döbeln . In the state parliament, Liebhauser is a member of the budget and finance committee as well as the petitions committee.

Liebhauser was a member of the committee of inquiry into "criminal and corrupt networks in Saxony" (" Sachsensumpf "). In the 2014 state elections , he won 45.0% of the votes in the newly tailored constituency 21 (Central Saxony 4) , moved back into the state parliament and was again a member of the budget and finance committee and now deputy chairman of the petitions committee.
