Sven Werner Tritschler (* 1981 ) is a German politician of the Alternative for Germany (AfD). From May 2015 to February 2018 he was federal chairman of the Junge Alternative für Deutschland (JA) and is deputy chairman of the AfD parliamentary group in the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . Tritschler was state chairman of the Junge Alternative Nordrhein-Westfalen from its inception until July 17, 2017 and a member of the state board of the AfD North Rhine-Westphalia until August 30, 2015 . In the state election in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2017 he was elected to the state legislature.

Life

Tritschler grew up in Waldkirch in the Black Forest . After graduating from a commercial high school , he did his military service . He then started studying law at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen , which he did not finish.

Tritschler is gay and lives in Cologne . He is a member of the Prinzen-Guard Cologne 1906 .

Political career

Tritschler was elected to the youth council in his hometown in 1997. He was initially a member of the FDP and there, federal chairman of the national liberal Stresemann Club. In 2013 he joined the AfD. Here he quickly became chairman of the regional youth organization (JA NRW). In this position, he invited the EU opponent and Brexit supporter Nigel Farage (UKIP) to a lecture in Cologne in 2014 . In May 2015 he was elected national chairman of the Junge Alternative für Deutschland (JA) together with Markus Frohnmaier .

Tritschler was Direct candidate in the constituency Cologne-Mülheim in the state election in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2017 and was on the national list elected to the state parliament. He is a member of a number of content-related state parliament committees, he is the chairman of the committee for Europe and international affairs and spokesman for the committees for digitization and innovation, as well as the commission of inquiry for the "digital transformation" in the working world of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Political positions

For the sociologist Andreas Kemper , Tritschler is a representative of the libertarian wing of the Junge Alternative. Tritschler is less interested in migration policy, but instead advocates state social benefits and a neoliberal economic policy . With his co-chairman Markus Frohnmaier , who can be assigned to the national conservative wing, he shares not only the rejection of Islam, but above all the conservative gender and family image.

Tritschler himself said several times that Syrians fleeing to Germany were cowardly because they abandoned their “family” “to mimic the refugee while they die at home”. Instead, the refugees should defeat IS . Tritschler rejects Islam as a “criminal ideology” and sees it as an obstacle to integration. However, he does not want to “integrate one and a half million Christians a year”.

After personal connections between the AfD and the völkisch " Identitarian Movement " observed by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution were revealed and individual JA members marched at a demonstration by the Austrian Identitarian Movement, Tritschler distanced himself from it. JA owes it to its soldiers, police officers and officials to draw a clear line, and it does so.

In January 2016 he made Chancellor Angela Merkel jointly responsible for sexual violence against women in Cologne . Merkel "gave the impression that our country is a large open-air brothel for everyone who is not allowed to let off steam at home". In Germany one would pay taxes, so Tritschler further, in order to "finance millions of uninvited guests 'a lotter life'".

In July 2016 he performed together with almost 20 functionaries of the Junge Alternative in Cologne's pedestrian zone. The participants marched through the city center, some of them disguised with burqas and face masks. They showed signs with inscriptions such as “Sharia instead of the Basic Law”, “Assimilation is genocide”, “Allahu Akbar” and “No terrorist is illegal”.
