The Swiss Prime Site AG in Olten is the largest listed real estate company of Switzerland . The portfolio of the group company Swiss Prime Site Immobilien is valued at over CHF 11 billion and consists primarily of commercial and retail properties in the two most important Swiss metropolitan regions of Zurich and Geneva-Lausanne . The real estate investments together with the real estate services of the group companies Wincasa AG and Swiss Prime Site Solutions form the real estate segment. The retail segment consists of the premium department store Jelmoli - The House of Brands.

history

The company was founded in 1999 by the pension funds of Credit Suisse and the Siemens companies in Switzerland, as well as what was then Winterthur Leben (now Axa ). Swiss Prime Site was listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange in April 2000 . The real estate portfolio at that time was worth around CHF 500 million.

In 2001, Swiss Prime Site was able to buy a portfolio of office buildings from Swisscom . In 2003 she took over the Frey Group and in 2004 Maag Holding AG .
