Synagogue (Altenbamberg)
The synagogue in Altenbamberg , a local community in the Bad Kreuznach district in Rhineland-Palatinate , was built in 1892 and destroyed in the November pogrom in 1938 . Today there is a residential building in its place.
The location of the synagogue was today's Burgstrasse No. 6, the old address in 1932 was Hintergasse 73. The plastered building with a gable roof on the eaves blended into the closed development of the street. On the street side it was divided by a round arched portal and three round arched windows. Corner pilaster strips with small attachments, which were crowned by vases, framed the facade.
