Synagogue Ennery (Moselle)
The synagogue in Ennery , a commune in the Moselle department in the French region of Lorraine , was built 1819th The secular synagogue at No. 7 rue des Jardins has been classified as a Monument historique since 1984 .
history
The synagogue also served the Jewish residents of the surrounding towns of Ay-sur-Moselle , Argancy , Flévy , Talange and Trémery . In 1851 the synagogue was enlarged to accommodate the increasing number of parishioners.
In 1940 the last service was held in the synagogue at Passover . It was sold to a private citizen in 1963 and is used as a storage room.
