history

TSV Lägerdorf was established in 1945 as a joint successor to MTV 1890 Lägerdorf , SV 1930 Lägerdorf and Arbeiter-TSV Vorwärts 1890 Lägerdorf . Seven years later, the team was promoted to the Schleswig-Holstein State League , which, with the exception of the 1961/62 season, belonged until 1969. The highlights were the seasons 1956/57 and 1964/65, in which the TSV took fourth place. After the team was able to save themselves after a 2-1 victory in the decider against FC Holstein Segeberg in 1966 , they had to accept relegation three years later. In 1971 he was relegated to the District League West. Ten years later, they were promoted to the Landesliga Süd , where they missed the march into the Verbandsliga Schleswig-Holstein by only one point in the promotion season. Instead, it went back to the district league again in 1986.

In the early 1990s, the major baker Manfred Krause began to get involved financially with the TSV. In 1994 he was promoted to the regional league, which was followed three years later by the leap into the association league. As a runner-up in 1999 behind Eichholzer SV , the Lägerdorfer managed to move up to the then fourth-class Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein Oberliga. The TSV was eighth in the promotion season and for the first time after the descent of Itzehoer SV the sporting number one of the district. After internal turbulence, patron Krause withdrew in the summer of 2001. Although the sporting league was successful, the board of directors withdrew the team to the district league for financial reasons. There he was promoted to the regional league west in 2004 and four years later qualified for the newly created association league south-west . In 2016, the TSV rose to the Schleswig-Holstein League and had to relegate three years later.

The club's A-youth qualified in the 2011/12 season for the DFB Junior Club Cup , where they lost 1:16 in the first round against 1. FC Nürnberg . With Fabian Boll , TSV produced a Bundesliga player.
