Taang! Records

Taang! Records is an American independent label . Curtis Casella founded it in Boston in 1984 to give the local hardcore scene an opportunity to release sound carriers. The label name is made up of the first letters of the words "Teen Agers Are No Good!" (German about: "Teenagers are no good!") together. In the mid-1990s, Casella and the label moved to San Diego , California .

Taang concentrates musically! Records on genres such as punk , hardcore , indie rock or ska punk . The most important bands include Gang Green , Poison Idea and the early Lemonheads . The publications of Taang! in the late 1980s, among other things, by American College Radio , which, in contrast to commercial broadcasters, played genres such as punk or hardcore.
