The valley ditch is a left tributary of the Meinheimer Mühlbach in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .

The valley ditch rises southeast of the Yellow Mountain at an altitude of 559  m above sea level. NN at the east foot of the Hahnenkamm northwest of Kurzenaltheim not far from the border with Heidenheim and Dittenheim . After a run of around 1.2 kilometers, it flows not far west of Kurzenaltheim at an altitude of 474  m above sea level. NN from the left into the Meinheimer Mühlbach.
