Talisay is a Filipino municipality in Batangas Province .
geography
Talisay is located in the southwest of the island of Luzon in the north of the Batangas province about 84 kilometers south of Metro Manila . The borough area is bordered by Tagaytay City to the north, Laurel to the west, Tanauan City to the east, and Lake Taal to the south.
Barangays
Talisay is politically divided into 21 barangays . The municipality consists of 8 barangays, which form the main town, and 13 surrounding barangays. From Tanauan City on the National Highway from the east one comes through the Barangays Aya, Tranca, Quilling and Tumaway. To the west of the capital are the barangays San Guillermo, Banga, Buco, Sta. Maria, Sampaloc, Caloocan, Balas, Leynes and Mirando.
