Tanart Sathienthirakul (born November 29, 1992 ) is a Thai automobile racing driver .

Career

Sathienthirakul began his motorsport career in karting in 2006 , where he remained active until 2011. Among other things, he was Thai champion in the KF2 category in 2009. In 2012, Sathienthirakul made his formula racing debut and he competed for M2 Competition in the Toyota Racing Series . He was 14th in the drivers' championship. He then started for MP Motorsport in the Northern European Formula Renault . He finished the season in 27th place overall. He also took part in four races of the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup . In 2013, Sathienthirakul started the year again in the Toyota Racing Series. With ETEC Motorsport he improved to eleventh championship place. In 2013, Sathienthirakul drove for the ART Junior Team in the Northern European Formula Renault . Here, too, he improved to eleventh place overall. He also made a guest start in the Alpine Formula Renault. Sathienthirakul also drove in the Chinese Formula Masters . Here he won a race and was seventh in the drivers' championship.

In 2014 Sathienthirakul moved to Team West-Tec F3 in the Euroformula Open . With a fourth place as the best result, he was overall seventh. He also took part in two GT Asia races, making his debut in GT racing. In 2015 Sathienthirakul stayed with Team West-Tec F3 in the Euroformula Open. With three third places, he improved to fourth place in the championship. In addition, Sathienthirakul contested a racing weekend in the European Formula 3 championship for Motopark . In winter 2015/16 he started in the Asian Le Mans Series (AsLMS) in various classes. In the Euro Formula Open Season 2016 Sathienthirakul went then for RP Motorsport at the start. A fourth place was his best result and he finished seventh in the drivers' standings. He also competed in the Renault Sport Trophy and the Asian Le Mans Sprint Cup .
