Racing calendar

There were five race weekends with three races each. One race took place on Saturday, two races on Sunday. The events took place on five consecutive weekends.

The starting grid for the first race was determined by the fastest time a driver had in qualifying. For the second race, the two fastest laps of a driver were added to determine the starting grid. The third race started according to the target order of the second race, with the first six pilots starting in the reverse order ( reversed grid ). At the last three events, the starting order for the second and third races was determined using the other method.

The last race at the Chris Amon Manfeild Circuit was the New Zealand Grand Prix .
