Taped (spelling: TAPED) was founded in 2009 by front man Finlay Sky Davey and drummer Tiago Spagolla Ritter at the age of 14 in Liechtenstein and can be assigned to post-hardcore and metalcore . The name Taped comes from the fact that the band used to have no money for expensive repairs and patched everything up with tape.

history

Taped started with two men in a small cellar in Mauren (Liechtenstein) . After a short time the guitarists Christian Jäger and Kevin Negele joined them and the band played some smaller concerts. In 2011 bassist Philipp Luder was brought on board.

In 2013 the band released their first EP Never Back Down with 7 tracks, including a remix and an acoustic piece, on Redfield Digital .

On February 13, 2015, the debut album Empires will follow on Redfield Records . The album contains two features , one with the singer David Beule from Vitja , the other with Bobby Stein from the Coyotes and was produced in the Pitchback Studios in Cologne . For the release, a limited bundle with a hand-made box made of Liechtenstein spruce wood and other local components was offered, which represents the reference to their home country. In recent years, Taped have played shows with Eskimo Callboy , Enter Shikari , Texas in July , Hatebreed , A Traitor Like Judas , Attila , All I Have and Comeback Kid, among others .
