Tarassiwka ( Ukrainian Тарасівка ; Russian Тарасовка Tarassowka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Kiev with about 800 inhabitants (2001).
The village was formed in 1918 from small farms that arose as part of the Stolypin agrarian reform and named Tarasivka in honor of the Ukrainian national poet Taras Shevchenko . Tarasivka is located in the east of the Rajon Bila Tserkva on the bank of the Rokytna ( Рокитна ), a 20 km long left tributary of the Ros . Since 2017 it belongs administratively to the municipality of the city of Usyn, which is 8 km to the west and is located 33 km east of the district center of Bila Tserkva and 88 km south of Kiev .
The national trunk road N 02 / regional road P-33 and the territorial road T-10-10 run past the village .
