Tarassiwka ( Ukrainian Тарасівка ; Russian Тарасовка Tarassowka , Slovak Teresová, Terešul , Hungarian Tereselpatak ) is a village in the Ukrainian Transcarpathian Oblast with about 3000 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in the 16th century, is the only place of the district council of the same name in the center of the Tyachiv district .
The village is located in the Carpathian Forest at an altitude of 426 m in the valley of the Tarasivka , a tributary of the Teresva , 39 km northeast of the Rajon center of Tyachiv and 170 km southeast of the Oblast center of Uzhhorod .
