action

Jeetender Kumar Makwana aka Jimmy Cliff works in a call center. There he gives the employees English lessons. On a rainy day, the pretty Pooja asks him to teach English to the wealthy Lakhan Singh, better known as Bhayyaji. Jimmy agrees to take private lessons, with the ulterior motive of being around Pooja. The two get closer and at some point Pooja persuades him to steal a suitcase full of money from Bhayyaji.

Only now does Jimmy realize that Bhayyaji is a powerful gang boss and that Pooja has only taken advantage of him - because Pooja is already over the top with the money. Now Jimmy has to hide from Bhayyaji too, as he is suspected of being in league with Pooja. Finally, Bhayyaji hires the henchman Bachchan Pandey to get Pooja, Jimmy and the money back.

It doesn't take long and Bachchan finds what he is looking for - first Jimmy and then Pooja. All the money is missing, because Pooja has hidden the millions in seven different places across India . Now the three of them set out to collect the stolen money. During this trip, Pooja and Bachchan find out through their common past that they were both in love in their youth and that an incident had separated them. So Bachchan changes fronts and just wants to hand over the money to Bhayyaji. Unfortunately Jimmy didn't know anything about the love story and fills the suitcase with stones.

After hearing about this action, Pooja tells Jimmy the truth about her past with Bachchan and that Bhayyaji is responsible for her father's death. Jimmy believes her and they try to help Bachchan, who is already being tortured by Bhayyaji. After some fighting, it is Pooja who kills Bhayyaji with a knife - just as he did with her father.

The last scene shows that Jimmy opens his own call center and Bachchan and his childhood sweetheart Pooja live happily ever after in a house.

criticism

“(...) So the locations in Kerala, on the Ganges or in Rajasthan are popular - especially the song sequences are real eye candy. The speed of the narration also has its advantages: With all the urge to move forward, it rarely becomes completely boring. And the star power ensures that Bollywood fans can at least tickle a bit. But that is of course not enough to heave the film above average. Début director Vijay Krishna Acharya, who previously "made a name for himself" as a screenwriter for films such as Dhoom: 2, is continuing the series of disappointments that the former prestige studio Yashraj has recently presented to viewers.
