The Imperial City Tattoo Expo , which took place in Aachen for the fourth time in 2019, follows a completely “opposing approach and focuses on the medium of the tattoo itself”. The organizer of the Tattoo Expo is the tattoo artist Andreas Coenen, who has been running the tattoo studio The Sinner & the Saint in downtown Aachen since 1997 . The approximately one hundred and twenty international “world class” tattoo artists present offered “creative and high-quality work around the best possible customer service”.
