The Neuss team is the S senior team and the S junior team vaulting group of the RSV Neuss-Grimlinghausen and has been in existence since 2005. The trainers and lunge guides are Jessica Lichtenberg (née Schmitz), Elisabeth Simon, Simone Lang-Wiegele and Antje Hill. The team based at the Nixhof in Neuss is a member of the national A- team group vaulting .

The senior team became world champion at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen in 2006 and at the World Equestrian Games in Caen in 2014 and vice world champion in Le Mans in group vaulting, in 2011 it was European champion in Le Mans and 2013 in Ebreichsdorf . The gold medal was also secured in front of a home crowd at the 2015 European Championships in Aachen. The junior team became European champions in its age group in 2012 and 2013 .

At the end of 2006, the group was voted NRW Team of the Year 2006 by WDR viewers. 77.6 percent of the votes went to the team from Neuss, which clearly relegated such prominent names as the basketball players from RheinEnergie Cologne and the handball players from TBV Lemgo to places two and three.

In the ranks of the team there were and still are high-performance individual athletes such as Simone Wiegele and Antje Hill , who were members of the national A-squad for individual vaulting. Janika Derks and Pauline Riedl have been back in the national team since the end of 2013.
