Tepraloxydim is a chemical compound from the group of cyclohexene oximes (cyclohexadione).

properties

Tepraloxydim is a solid. It is stable to hydrolysis at a pH of 7 to 9 and slowly decomposes at a pH of 5 ( DT 50 = 22.1 days).

use

Tepraloxydim is used as a herbicide (for example under the name Aramo) in arable farming (beets, rape, potatoes), in forestry and in ornamental plants. It is an acetyl-CoA carboxylase inhibitor.

In the EU there are none pesticides approved with the active ingredient tepraloxydim. Nevertheless, tepraloxydim can be manufactured in the EU for export .

proof

After derivatization, the active ingredient can be determined using gas chromatography and directly using LC- (ESI +) - MS / MS.
