The Territorial Prelature Marawi ( Latin : Territorialis Territorialis Praelatura Maraviensis ) is a Roman Catholic territorial prelature based in Marawi City on Mindanao Island in the Philippines .
Pope Paul VI founded on November 20, 1976 the territorial prelature Marawi from territory cessions of the territorial prelature Iligan and subordinated them to the Archdiocese of Ozamis . It includes the province of Lanao del Sur .
