Life
Edwin de la Peña y Angot joined the Congregation of the Mission Society of the Philippines at and received on 22 April 1981, the priestly ordination .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Prelate of Marawi on June 23, 2000 . The Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines , Antonio Franco , consecrated him bishop on December 27 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Jesus Armamento Dosado CM , Archbishop of Ozamis , and Fernando R. Capalla , Archbishop of Davao .
