The river called Tessuinum by the Romans arises on Monte La Torre west of Force . It then flows through the municipalities of Rotella , Montedinove , Castignano , Montalto delle Marche and Cossignano . After Offida and Ripatransone , it reaches the Adriatic Sea south of Grottammare . It has no tributaries worth mentioning.
